He was a highly esteemed and universally popular member of our deanery team and the department, to which he was always very attached. With his unique sense of humor, Uwe Kassuhn always had an open ear, a good piece of advice and two strong, helping hands for everyone in the department over the years.

All of us, the staff and students of the department, are very grateful to him for this and we wish his family and loved ones much strength and confidence in this difficult time.
