Schedule and content organization of courses in the Veterinary Medicine degree program
Compulsory courses
Students are systematically trained in general pathology in the 5th semester. The compulsory course concludes with a written performance assessment (e-examination). From the 6th semester onwards, the organization-centered training in special pathology follows in line with the block teaching. The training includes practical exercises using histological specimens ("histology course", subject to proof of regular and successful participation). From the 7th semester onwards, practical exercises are added in parallel ("Demos", subject to proof of regular and successful participation, two oral tests), which are completed with participation in the two-week rotation in the 9th or 10th semester (subject to proof of regular participation, completion by practical examination, 4th partial examination of the state examination).
