Theoretical student training in accordance with the Ordinance on the Licensing of Veterinarians (TAppV) is also possible for all pregnant or breastfeeding students and immunosuppressed persons in veterinary pathology without restriction or loss of time.

In these cases, the practical training and theoretical examination is carried out using plastinates and outside the dissection hall, so that any risk of exposure to infectious examination material can be ruled out. Only successful participation in the rotation and the final practical examination require active participation in the dissection hall. If necessary, an individual solution will be sought after consultation with all those involved and risk assessment by the attending physician.

Those affected should contact the secretary's office or a lecturer of their choice as soon as possible. A discreet / confidential handling of the respective situation is a matter of course, please contact us as early as possible so that we can find a safe and efficient solution for you!

All rooms of the veterinary pathology department are also barrier-free!
