The institute is involved in teaching a course in biostatistics to veterinary students in the 2^nd semester as well as elective and cross sectional courses in higher semesters. Dates and lecture notes can be found on the FU Berlin Blackboard. The lecture Statistics and Epidemiology is also offered to bachelor students in Horse Sciences.

Furthermore, the institute is engaged in the post graduate programs of Dahlem Research School Biomedical Sciences, educates residents of the European College of Veterinary Public Health with an own program as well as veterinary specialists in epidemiology and offers training courses in the context of veterinary education.
