Afrika Workshop Namibia
Eleven PhD Students of the RTG 2046 together with 7 supervisors will go on a field work workshop to Namibia in Afrika. With a combination of lectures, seminars and practical work, they will learn how a field study has to be prepared, organized and conducted. Also, they will learn to face wild life animals to acquire and analyse samples from wild animals. All PhD students had to apply for this workshop with a brief proposal for a small project in Namibia. For future scientists in Parasitology, field work might be an important necessary tool to learn. In at least two more meetings, the Africa workshop in March 2023 will be prepared in detail.
