Books from the textbook collection can be borrowed by students of Freie Universität Berlin for 2 weeks. These books can be renewed up to a maximum lending period of 26 weeks, unless they have been reserved for another user.

Books from the reading room can be borrowed by staff, students and external users for 4 weeks. These books can also be renewed up to a maximum lending period of 26 weeks, unless they have been reserved.

Books with a yellow or red sticker above their signature, as well as journals are part of our reference collection. They are intended for on site use and therefore not available for borrowing.

Booking requests

You can order borrowed literature by making a reservation in Primo. To do this, you must log in to the Primo library portal.

You will receive an e-mail notification when the reservation is available for you at the rental desk for next 5 working days.
