according to the German regulation for the licensing of veterinarians (TAppV), almost a quarter of the Veterinary Medicine university education is spent in extramural internships in the various fields of veterinary activity. Extramural internships are therefore extremely important for academic success. For decades, you, dear colleagues, have been reliably supporting us in the implementation of these internships. Thank you very much for that!

In order to ensure compliance with the quality requirements of the European accreditation body (EAEVE), extramural internships are to be managed by internship veterinarians exclusively via the VMFT Service Center. The Service Center provides links to recognized didactic training courses as well as all documents and links required for quality assurance (internship agreement, evaluation, contacts for questions, internship certificate) in an intuitive online platform.
