Medical Terminology

Terminology is the technical language used in medicine. It is used for precise and clear communication between medical professionals. The technical terms, the termini technici, originate from the Latin and ancient Greek languages and include, for example, designations of body structures and positional designations on the body as well as for diseases.

Mandatory Courses

1. Semester: Medical Terminology

This e-learning course is for students without a proficiency certificate in Latin or Ancient Greek. The course teaches the basics of Latin and Ancient Greek using animated videos and various exercises in order to understand and be able to use the medical terms technici.
