Histology & Embryology
In histology, the cells and tissues of the organism are examined under a microscope. The resulting knowledge of the cellular morphology and function of the tissues of healthy organs is the foundation for being able to diagnose disease-related tissue changes. The subject of embryology is the development of the animal body from the fertilized egg to birth. It therefore provides the basic knowledge for reproductive medicine and enables the development of malformations to be understood.
Mandatory Courses
