Webinar on the ENVIRE research consortium

On the 6. November, the Institute hosted a webinar on the first results from the ENVIRE research consortium. The EU-JPIAMR research consortium ENVIRE (‘Interventions to control the dynamics of antimicrobial resistance from chickens through the environment’; funded by the BMBF) deals with the spread of resistance from broiler farms via the environment to humans and is already in its third year of research funding. Two institutions at the faculty are project partners, the Institute of Animal and Environmental Hygiene and the Institute of Veterinary Epidemiology and Biometry (coordination).
