From 19 - 23 August 2024, another study planning, evaluation and writing week took place at the Institute for doctoral students, most of whom were supervised by Charlotte Jensen, Roswitha Merle and Marcus Doherr. During this week, all participants worked intensively on their projects, regularly exchanged ideas with their supervisors and other doctoral students and made considerable progress in their respective projects. It was already the fourth week since May 2023 that has taken place at the institute with 10 - 12 participants each time, and once again it became clear how important it is to exchange ideas regularly with other doctoral students and also to take time over several days to make real progress. In addition to the technical aspects, there was also plenty of socialising with joint bagel orders for lunch (the bagel shop was a little overloaded with 22 bagels ordered) and an evening get-together in the beer garden. A repeat was definitely requested and is planned for week 04 / 2025 (20 - 24 January 2025).
