The Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene carries out accredited microbiological and histological tests for the scientific institutions of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and for private customers and companies. The diagnostics primarily cover food of animal origin.

In addition, we carry out official microbiological cross-checks and prepare corresponding expert reports.

In addition to the detection of pathogenic germs, the tests also serve to quantify spoilage organisms.
